Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: IEEE-754 floating point arithmetic cannot represent certain decimal fractions precisely in binary, causing floating-point rounding errors.
The fix: Round the result to two decimal places: Math.round((balance - payment) * 100) / 100
Remember: In JavaScript, decimal subtraction can produce unexpected rounding artifacts.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
