Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: String.prototype.replace() with a string argument only replaces the first occurrence.
The fix: Use String.prototype.replaceAll() to replace every occurrence: phone.replaceAll('-', '')
Remember: In JavaScript, string.replace(str, '') only strips the first match, not all of them.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
