Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: Array.prototype.sort() converts numbers to strings and compares UTF-16 code units, sorting lexicographically, and mutates the array in-place.
The fix: Shallow-copy the array and supply a numeric comparator function: [...prices].sort((a, b) => a - b)
Remember: In JavaScript, array.sort() without a comparator sorts alphabetically, not numerically.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
