Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: equal counts are not enough. In ")(" the ) comes before anything is open.
The fix: depth = 0; for each character, add 1 for ( and take 1 for ). If depth < 0, return False. At the end, return depth == 0.
Remember: brackets need the right order, not just the right count.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
