Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: break only stops the inner loop. The outer loop finds [2, 3] later and overwrites [1, 4].
The fix: return [nums[i], nums[j]] as soon as you find a pair, and return [] after the loops.
Remember: break leaves one loop. return leaves them all.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
