Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: split(" ") splits at every single space. Two spaces in a row leave an empty string, which gets counted as a word.
The fix: return len(text.split())
Remember: split() with no argument splits on any spaces and ignores the empty bits.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
