Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the scope and closure bugs pattern
Every callback reports the last value, a counter never increments, UnboundLocalError on a variable you can see.
What went wrong: var label belongs to the whole function, so it hides the outer label from the first line. At the early return it has no value yet.
The fix: rename the inner variable: const localLabel = "local"; return localLabel;
Remember: avoid reusing an outer variable's name inside a function.
The pattern behind it: scope and closure bugs.
