Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the scope and closure bugs pattern
Every callback reports the last value, a counter never increments, UnboundLocalError on a variable you can see.
What went wrong: counter.inc on its own is just the function. forEach calls it without counter, so this is undefined inside it.
The fix: items.forEach(() => counter.inc());
Remember: when you pass a method as a value, wrap it in an arrow function to keep this.
The pattern behind it: scope and closure bugs.
