Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: The delete operator deletes property values but does not re-index the array or update its length, leaving a sparse empty slot.
The fix: Use Array.prototype.filter() to return a new array without the specified index: items.filter((_, i) => i !== index)
Remember: Never use delete on array indices; use slice(), splice(), or filter() instead.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
