Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the type errors pattern
Totals that concatenate, sorts that put 10 before 9, comparisons that refuse to run.
What went wrong: === on two objects is only true if they are the very same object. Two objects created separately are never ===, even with the same contents.
The fix: seen.some((s) => JSON.stringify(s) === JSON.stringify(record))
Remember: === compares numbers and text by value, but objects by identity.
The pattern behind it: type errors.
