Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: max(scores) compares the names. "zoe" is last in A to Z order, so it wins.
The fix: return max(scores, key=scores.get)
Remember: a dict on its own means its keys. Use key= to compare by value.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
