This is a type errors bug
Totals that concatenate, sorts that put 10 before 9, comparisons that refuse to run.
int() only accepts text that is a whole number. "3.50" contains a decimal point, so it is not valid input for int(), even though int(3.5) on an actual float works and truncates. Use float() for text that may contain a decimal. For real money, prices are usually stored as whole cents or with the decimal module, because floats cannot represent most decimal fractions exactly. The value in quotes at the end of this error is exactly what failed to convert.
The pattern behind it: type errors.
