Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the logic errors pattern
The wrong operator, an inverted condition, a formula the right way round but backwards.
What went wrong: Python set collections are unordered hash tables and do not preserve insertion order.
The fix: Use dict.fromkeys() to remove duplicates while maintaining insertion order: list(dict.fromkeys(items))
Remember: In Python 3.7+, dict preserves insertion order; use dict.fromkeys(items) for ordered deduplication.
The pattern behind it: logic errors.
