Test a custom input to verify an edge case (e.g. empty lists, negative numbers, duplicates).
This bug belongs to the infinite loops pattern
The tab freezes, nothing prints, and the loop condition never becomes false.
What went wrong: the code only changes n when it is even. When n is odd, nothing happens, so the loop checks the same number forever.
The fix: add else: n = 3 * n + 1
Remember: test inputs that go down both sides of an if.
The pattern behind it: infinite loops.
